I can't finish anything. I can't finish songs, I can't finish paintings.
There's a whole other bunch of songs from the year before that I just chose to forget about because there were little bits that annoyed me.
But I like these songs and I want some other people to hear them whether they're finished or not.
Most of the tunes began their life in Easter/spring 2023 then were worked up over the rest of the year.
The various recordings were made with a single microphone in the dining room at the farm in Norfolk,
my mum's painting studio in Humbie and my painting studio in Berlin.
Guest vocals from my father on track 7, as well as the river itself.
I played and sung everything else and mixed it to the best of my abilities.
Other than that they are unmastered and unstable. With Love.
